You Can Help Change a child's Future.

So… I am running the ABP Southampton FULL Marathon in April for The DCF!

I’m aware I have already asked everyone for donation back last year but the charity still needs funds to support children and there families in Dorset.

The DCF is all about making everything as accessible as possible for children with a disability. They provide a huge range of activities and events; from counselling for carers and parents, helping source essential equipment for children, therapies, helping fundraise towards medical costs which are not covered by statutory services, support groups, and work very hard to break down those barriers of how the world views disabilities.

All of the above is supported and run solely by volunteers, the amazing people, that without them this charity would not be able to continue giving the support it does. I have seen first hand the benefits of this charity. As many people know my sister is disabled and she accesses activities through the DCF, one being the Saturday club for children with PMLD. This club is run and organised solely by volunteers, it provides a space for the children to enjoy different activities twice a month as well as the parents having a chance to catch up with a coffee and a cake.

This charity is just very special and close to my heart and if I can just give something back by raising some money for them to keep doing the FANTASTIC work they are doing it would be amazing!

Please give what you can, anything will be so grateful!
