Pola is 4 and caught Pneumococcal Meningitis at 5 months old. This took away her sight, mobility and ability to feed herself. She also has Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. Pola was recently accepted as a suitable candidate for Stem Cell Treatment. Her family raised a staggering £40,000 to privately fund this, and we were happy to contribute towards her families flights and a specialist travel seating system. It’s early days as she has just had the treatment but the clinic reports very positive results. She will now start a variety of intensive therapies and we will update you of her progress.
