Superhero Santiago

August 6, 2020

Santiago has Cerebral Palsy and nearly 2 years ago had an amazing operation to remove the spasticity in his legs (called an SDR)
This week he returned to Great Ormond Street Hodpital for his 2 year review. This consisted of over 2 & a half hours walking and performing but he smashed it.
They were so impressed by how cheerful & friendly he was through this long ordeal.
Imagine having a 5 year old child asking them to sit, then stand , then walk slow, then walk fast, then stand with holding just one hand, then walk again, etc etc etc for that long. WITH A MASK ON!
Please let’s share what a superhero Santiago is.
