BIG ENOUGH TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
SMALL ENOUGH TO CARE.

The Dorset Children’s Foundation is an independent local charity dedicated to improving the lives of sick and disabled children living within our community.

We provide mobility equipment, therapies and medical expenses not provided by The NHS.
Our three successful charity shops cover all our modest overheads.
We were founded in 2013 and since then have raised over £500,000.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We appreciate any help you can give us. Here’s a few ideas on how you may be able to support us in some way.

WHAT WE DO

We are passionate about our work and in order to support as many local children as possible, we work in a variety of different ways.

"The Dorset Children's Foundation is what a charity should be! You say you are 'Big enough to make a difference, small enough to care' and this is exactly what you are. It is a breath of fresh air to find people who are so focused on the children, so passionate about making a difference and so willing to help families for who life can be really quite challenging. "

"We have been overwhelmed with the support and genuine care DCF have shown our beautiful little boy. You are phenomenal people with a growing goal that goes above and beyond what we ever could have expected. "

DO YOU NEED OUR SUPPORT ?

If you have a disabled child and need our support please get in touch. We understand that asking for help can be very emotional but we promise you will be received with warmth and understanding. We will set up a visit with a member of our friendly team so we can understand how best to help.

"We promise that your donation will never be used to cover the day to day operational costs of the charity."
