March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month
March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month 💚
At The Dorset Children’s Foundation, we work with many incredible children and families living with cerebral palsy. This month is an opportunity to raise awareness, celebrate achievements, and continue advocating for inclusion.
Cerebral palsy (CP) is a lifelong condition that affects movement, posture and muscle control. Every child’s experience is different, but with the right support, opportunities and understanding, children with CP can thrive.
Throughout March we recognise:
✨ The strength, resilience and individuality of the children and young people we support
✨ The dedication of parents and carers navigating the challenges that can come with disability
✨ The importance of inclusive communities where every child feels valued and supported
✨ The ongoing need for therapies, specialist equipment and opportunities that help children reach their full potential
At The DCF, we are proud to stand alongside families across Dorset and support children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities to live fuller, happier lives.
Together we can continue to raise awareness and build a happier and more inclusive society.
