The Dorset Children’s Foundation support a number of profoundly disabled and immobile children and we ideally want for them to be safely and comfortably included in all our Accessible for All activities and a portable hoist would facilitate this.

In addition these children need hoists in their homes for everyday use so we are having to fundraise for six hoists in total as this equipment is not provided by the NHS. Imagine trying to lift your 14 year old child into the car, for example?
