‘Where happiness inspires hope‘

The Dorset Children’s Foundation are very honoured to be an official wish giving charity for Give Kids The World (GKTW) which is a non-profit ‘story book’ resort in central Florida, where children with life threatening illnesses and their families are treated to a week-long cost free holiday.

When a family arrives at Give Kids The World Village, they quickly realise that this is a special place. They get to visit the world-famous attractions and theme parks of Central Florida and enjoy The GKTW Village teeming with themed parties, events and surprises.
Each day offers an amazing experience. Parents see their children smiling and laughing – things that they haven’t done in weeks, months, even years.

We believe that GKTW will benefit so many of our families with children with life threatening illnesses and we would love to have the funds to send 6 families there in 2020 to make special memories. Trips cost on average £5,000 per family.
Absolutely everything will be planned for our parents from Visas to special assistance at the airports. We have an amazing volunteer who will guide our families through every step of their fantastic trip, so all they have to do is pack their bags.
