The Dorset Children’s Foundation (The DCF), The Steve Bernard Foundation and The Alliss Ferndown Charity joined together to buy Kitty, a local disabled girl, a fabulous new bike.
Kitty was born with two genetic disorders and she dreamt of riding a bike like her friends and family do. She wanted to get active and have fun. Because of her disability various bikes that she has tried over the years sadly haven’t worked for her. Unfortunately, because of her lack of strength and stamina she needed an electric bike to give her support when she gets tired and the terrain is a bit tougher. The cheapest quote for this was a staggering £8000!
