Delilah is a full-time wheelchair user, she can not stand unaided at all. The only time Delilah experiences standing is when she is strapped into her standing frame. At their last great Ormond street appointment they wanted Delilah to have as much hydrotherapy as possible, preferably in a pool that her feet can touch the bottom to encourage her to make step movements. With the kind generosity of the monthly raffle offered by Coastal Comedy she has now been given this chance. Delilah is not only experiencing standing more freely, she is weight baring !!! A complete first for her. Not to mention all the exercising of her legs, her school have also commented on the improved strength.
