Delilah was born with movement issues and unable to feed, is tube fed and cannot to walk. After extensive tests she is still undiagnosed and is under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Delilah is just like any other child, she is bright as a button and wants to take part in everything and not have to be carried around. She needed a self-propelled wheelchair to give her the freedom to play with friends and not be left behind. Our charity partner Urban Guild organised a fantastic fundraising evening, their staff worked for free, and their suppliers donated the food and drink and over 100 people attended. The evening raised over £3,600 and we decided to put it towards Delilah’s wheelchair.
