Funded: Holiday and Wheelchair

Raised: £9,000

Noah suffers from a rare genetic life limiting condition, Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia. On top of this Noah also has a heart condition Bicuspid Aortic Stenosis, epilepsy, dystonia (muscle spasms) and global development delay.  Noah is also fed through a gastrostomy tube and unable to sit up unaided, walk or talk. However he is the happiest boy always smiling, he brings great joy to his devoted family and captivates all who meet him. Sadly his condition is life limiting and children with these conditions rarely live beyond 3-4 years. Noah has celebrated his 5th birthday.  The DCF have passed the rigorous vetting procedure and have been accepted as a wish giving partner for ‘Give kids the world’ GKTW. This is the most amazing storybook village set in 84 acres in Central Florida where children with life threatening illnesses and their families are treated to a week long holiday. Thanks to a group called The Jolly boys who tirelessly fundraised plus The DCF, we were able to send Noah and his family in May 2018 for a holiday of a lifetime. We were delighted to be able to purchase a brand new wheelchair just in time fo his trip. They had a wonderful time and made lasting memories.
