We are thrilled to share the memories from our 4th Accessible for All, weekend residential at Avon Tyrrell. Every year we invite 10 families to come along for a weekend that is specially designed to help them strengthen bonds, build on their resilience, find new friends, enjoy the calm of the outdoors away from hospitals and clinical rooms, and generally forget about their everyday stresses for a couple of days. It’s not easy to travel and stay away from home with a child with complex needs so we give full credit to those who braved it and joined us this year.

We’d like to give thanks to Avon Tyrrell for providing such inclusive and accessible facilities, to our local Asda Community Champions who kindly provided a load of food for the lodge, prepared lunch and generally supported our families throughout the day.

This weekend gives us so many ‘pinch me moments’ that just remind us why we do what we do. These families are all amazing, and to be able to give them this experience and memories that’ll last a lifetime is very humbling. We can’t do it without the financial support of our donors and supporters, so we thank you too.
